Student Learning Outcomes Reporting Process in Xitracs

Student Learning Outcomes (SLO) reports are due in Xitracs annually on October 1. Reports are required by Academic Affairs Policy No. 2.04-4 for every academic program. This includes all degree programs and certificates, not minors or endorsements. Data requests should be sent to the Office of Academic Programs as soon as possible and no later than September 15. Information for annual reporting in Xitracs is available on the UGA Academic Program Assessment website.

Program Key Assessment (PKA) Reporting Process for GaPSC

Program key assessments, aligned with program standards, are required of all GaPSC-approved programs in the College. The number varies depending on the type of program. Each GaPSC-approved program is also required to submit an annual report by October 1 on data collected from PKAs during the assessment cycle (one academic year consisting of Summer, Fall, and Spring semesters). A reporting template and PKA data will be sent to faculty in August in time for reporting by the deadline. Program coordinators should report on the extent to which candidates are meeting standards, any trends in the data, differences in B.S.Ed. and M.A.T. scores, differences in specialty areas (if applicable), and plans for improvement. Subsequent reports should include an update on plans for improvement.

GaPSC Program Review

The College received continuing approval in 2021 with all standards met and no areas of improvement or stipulations. The next approval process will be conducted during the 2027–2028 academic year. Three cycles of data for each GaPSC-approved program will be submitted.

Assessment Reports by Program

Assessment reports will be produced for GaPSC-approved programs in early Fall semester using PKA data from the previous academic year.
