Printed Materials

The time frame for printed projects vary, but most vendors require two weeks of lead time.

Our in-house designer will work with you to create professionally branded materials that suit your needs. Design services are free. Please allow ample time for your project to be designed, edited, and produced.

The College’s policy is that our in-house designer designs all external marketing pieces so that materials meet brand guidelines and the College’s style guidelines and aesthetics. Please do not send us finished designs created in Canva or Adobe Express. Instead, content should be sent in a Word or Google document along with any high-res images you would like included in the graphic.

Printed materials include:

  • Flyers: Typically a letter sized document (8.5" x 11")
  • Brochures: Folded, printed marketing tool, typically a single sheet of paper (8.5" x 11"). Brochures can be designed in various formats, including bifold (folded in half) and trifold (folded in thirds)
  • Signs: Depending on the type of sign and its purpose, dimensions vary; common ones include indoor signs (12" x 18" and 24" x 36") and banner signs (2’ x 6’ and 3’ x 8')
  • Posters: A visual piece that is light on content (11" x 17" or 12" x 18")
  • Rack cards: A single or double-sided document (4" x 9")
  • Postcards: A document that can be mailed (4" x 6" or 5" x 7")
  • Booklets (event programs): A multi-page document bound together (this format can come in various sizes and is commonly used for conferences)
  • Certificates: An official document, typically letter sized (8.5" x 11")

Aesthetically, we are bound by brand guidelines set forth by the University. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with them.
